About This Game ***Not Compatible with Mac OS 10.8.x and above***Agent Nelson Tethers just solved the biggest case of his career. So why isn't he satisfied? There’s still the case of a missing eraser factory foreman, a whispering madness is still creeping from mind to mind, and a troubling recurrence of... creatures... is lurking into the town. The FBI's Department of Puzzle Research has marked the case closed -- are they sweeping it under the rug? Or worse, do they not even care? Worried that the case will languish forever unsolved, Tethers must go rogue and venture back to the eerie town of Scoggins, Minnesota to solve the mystery of "the Hidden People" once and for all. Key features: Sequel to the award winning Puzzle Agent (PC Gamer’s Game of the Year, IGN’s Best of E3, etc) Creepy puzzle adventure with mystery and dark humor Wider variety of intuitive yet challenging puzzles 7aa9394dea Title: Puzzle Agent 2Genre: Adventure, CasualDeveloper:Telltale GamesPublisher:Telltale GamesRelease Date: 30 Jun, 2011 Puzzle Agent 2 Pack Puzzle Agent 2 is a puzzle game woven in the middle of a interesting storyline. It's unfortunate that the game has not added more to it than the original offered other than more puzzles. However, it's fortunate that they didn't break anything that did work from the original game and simply just offered new puzzles. No risks taken here, if you've played the original, then you know exactly what to expect for this sequel. Again, the only drawback for this game is the fact that it is so short. Overall good quality game with some good puzzles to tease the brain.. Awesome point and click game. Loved the atmosphere, and being from Minnesota, it's maybe even a bit more beautiful at times. Very peculiar, but very memorable. It is a strange story that's driven through puzzle solving. If you don't enjoy a good brainteaser, look elsewhere. There were only two or three puzzles that referenced things I didn't know.. A quirky puzzle game that reminded me a bit of Fargo with a hint of Twin Peaks thrown in. Not much replay value though. In order to get all the achievements, you have to get all the puzzles right on the first try and without using hints. So, unless you don't mind replaying the game, I would suggest cross-checking your answers with a walkthrough before submitting.. Just as funny as Puzzle agent 1. And a must if you want to see where the story goes.. If you played Puzzle Agent then you know what you're into. The story continues from the first game and more locations are opened up. Unfortunately, those are about the only good aspects of the sequel. The bad:LocationsThe game features about the same amount of explorable locations as the first one. While new ones open up, too bad you don't get to visit all presented on the map. The ones you do visit aren't that many.PuzzlesEven though there are slightly more puzzles this time around (due to a few extras upon completion), the problem lies in that alot of them are reused from the first game, essentially lowering their diversity. Also, one puzzles requires that you look up the answer, unless you know a certain number to a certain decimal place. This is simply bad puzzle design in my opinion.StoryThe story continues and we finally get to crack the case to the mystery surrounding Scoggins. Unfortunately, the story ends up being convoluted and abruptly ends, as if they ran out of budget or something. We didn't even get to say goodbye to the characters...ValueThe first game was $2.99, this was $9.99 for what seemed like a rushed job. Overall I enjoyed the series but the second game should of been more polished. Buy only for the story and if got money to burn.. If you're playing this game for a satisfying ending to the first Puzzle Agent, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a good puzzle game with really funny gameplay, you came to the right place.. If you are looking for a game with a fun and quirky story, in addition to interesting characters, this game fits the bill. If you are looking for a game with enjoyable puzzles, the first Puzzle Agent is great and a real bargain. But if you enjoyed the puzzles in the first Puzzle Agent, you may be sorely disappointed with this continuation of the game. Unlike the first game, many of the puzzles lacked proper descriptions, forcing the player to make guesses on the rules of certain puzzles. Some even required previous knowledge, which may cause some puzzlers to break from the immersion of the game to go to the internet. While the first Puzzle Agent relied more on logical and 'puzzle' puzzles, this game tended to use more visual puzzles without much logic at all. But if you try not to care about the puzzles, and ignore the visual and gameplay bugs (infinite gum!), you might enjoy what you see.. Puzzle Agent 2 is a puzzle game woven in the middle of a interesting storyline. It's unfortunate that the game has not added more to it than the original offered other than more puzzles. However, it's fortunate that they didn't break anything that did work from the original game and simply just offered new puzzles.
